இந்துக் கடவுள் அனுமன் திருப்பதியில் உள்ள ஏழு மலைகளில் ஒன்றில் பிறந்ததாக திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம் கூறிய கருத்து ஆன்மிக வட்டாரத்தில் புதிய விவாதத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது.
ராம பக்தரான ஹனுமன், கர்நாடக மாநிலம் ஹம்பியை ஒட்டிய பெல்லாரி பகுதியில் இருக்கும் கிஷ்கிந்தா சேத்திரம் அல்லது குரங்கு ராஜ்ஜியமாகக் பல நூறு ஆண்டுகளாக நம்பப்படும் இடத்தில் பிறந்ததாக நம்பிக்கை இருக்கிறது. இந்த சூழலில் புதிதாக வேதவிற்பன்னர்கள், தொல்லியல் அறிஞர்கள், இஸ்ரோ விஞ்ஞானிகள் கொண்ட குழுவை அமைத்திருப்பதாகச் சொல்லும் திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம், திருப்பதியில் உள்ள ஏழு மலைகளில் ஒன்றான அஞ்சநாத்ரியே ஹனுமன் பிறந்த இடம் என்று கூறியது சர்ச்சையை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது.
இதுதொடர்பாக பேசிய கர்நாடக மாநிலம் ஷிவமோகாவில் இருக்கும் ராமச்சந்திர மடத்தின் மடாதிபதியான ராகேஸ்வர பாரதி, ஹனுமன் கர்நாடக மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தவர் என்பதற்கான சான்றுகள் ராமாயணத்திலேயே இருக்கின்றன என்கிறார். மேலும் அவர் கூறுகையில், “ராமாயணத்தில் தான் பிறந்த இடம் குறித்து சீதையிடம் பேசும் ஹனுமான், கடற்கரையோர கர்நாடகாவின் கோகர்ணாவில் பிறந்ததாகக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். அது ஹனுமனின் ஜென்மபூமி என்று சொல்லும் அவர் கிஷ்கிந்தாவில் உள்ள அஞ்சநாத்ரியை ஹனுமனின் கர்மபூமி என்றும் சொல்கிறார்.
ஹனுமன் பிறப்பிடம் கர்நாடகாவே என பல நூறு ஆண்டுகளாக நம்பப்பட்டு வந்த நிலையில், திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானத்தின் அறிவிப்பு சர்ச்சையாகியிருக்கிறது. ஹனுமனின் பிறப்பிடம் குறித்து ஆய்வு நடத்துவதற்காக திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம் சார்பில் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் குழு, தங்களது இறுதி அறிக்கையை வரும் 22-ம் தேதி சமர்ப்பிக்க இருப்பதாகவும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. ஹனுமன் பிறப்பிடம் குறித்த சர்ச்சையை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டு வரும் வகையில், அதுதொடர்பான அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அறிவிப்பை வெளியிட கர்நாடக அரசு தயாராகி வருகிறது.
கர்நாடக மாநிலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த விஷ்வ இந்து பரிஷத் அமைப்பு, திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம், தங்களது அறிவிப்பு குறித்து மறுபரிசீலனை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கூறியிருக்கிறது. அதேபோல், தொல்லியல் அறிஞர்களும் திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானத்தின் அறிவிப்பில் இருந்து முரண்படுகின்றனர். அவர்கள் கூற்றுப்படி, விஜயநகரப் பேரரசின் தலைநகராக இருந்த ஹம்பியை ஒட்டியிருக்கும் பகுதியே கிஷ்கிந்தா சேத்திரம் என்றும், இதுதொடர்பாக அந்தப் பகுதியில் இருக்கும் பாறை ஓவியங்கள் சாட்சியங்களாக நிற்கின்றன என்றும் கூறுகிறார்கள். ஆனால், திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம் இந்தக் கருத்துகளில் உடன்படவில்லை.
