ஹரியானா மாநிலம், மேவாத் பகுதியில் உள்ள கலில்பூர் கேதா கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர், ஆசிஃப் கான். ஜிம் பயிற்சியாளராக இவர் பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். இவர் கடந்த 16-ம் தேதி மருந்து வாங்குவதற்காக தனது நண்பர்களுடன் வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியே சென்றுள்ளார். அப்போது அப்பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த சில நபர்களால் கடத்தப்பட்டு கொலை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. இதனால், மேவாத் பகுதியில் கடுமையான பதற்றம் நிலவி வருகிறது. ட்விட்டர் மற்றும் ஃபேஸ்புக் போன்ற சமூக வலைதளங்களில் ஆசிஃப்பின் மரணத்துக்கு நீதிக்கேட்டு `#JusticeForAsif’ போன்ற ஹேஷ்டேக்குகள் வைரலாகி வருகின்றன.
ஆசிஃப் கான், கடந்த 16-ம் தேதி குடும்பத்தினருக்கு தேவையான மருந்துகளை வாங்கிக் கொண்டு சோஹ்னாவில் இருந்து தனது நண்பர்களுடன் வீட்டுக்கு வாகனத்தில் திரும்பி சென்றுள்ளார். அப்போது வழியில் சுமார் 15 நபர்கள் மூன்று கார்களில் வந்து ஆசிஃப் சென்ற வாகனத்தை தடுத்து நிறுத்தியுள்ளனர். பின்னர், அவரது வாகனத்தை கடுமையாக தாக்கியுள்ளனர். மூவரையும் கடுமையாக அடித்து உதைத்துள்ளனர். ஆசிஃப் உடன் இருந்த ரஷீத் மற்றும் வாசிஃப் கடுமையான தாக்குதலுக்கு ஆளாகி இருந்தாலும் உயிருடன் மீட்கப்பட்டனர்.
ரஷீத் இதுதொடர்பாக பேசும்போது, என்னை கடுமையாகத் தாக்கிய பின்னர், ஆசிஃபை காரில் இருந்து வெளியே இழுத்து அடித்து உதைத்தனர்.” என்றார். ரஷீத் மற்றும் வாசிஃபை விட்டுவிட்டு ஆசிஃபை அவர்கள் காரில் கடத்திச் சென்று இறக்கும் வரை கொடூரமாக அடித்து உதைத்துள்ளனர்.ஜெய்ஸ்ரீ ராம்’ முழக்கமிடக் கோரி ஆசிஃபை அடித்து துன்புறுத்தியதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. சோஹ்னாவில் இருந்து சுமார் மூன்று கி.மீ தொலைவில் இருக்கும் நங்லி என்ற கிராமத்தில் ஆசிஃபின் உடல் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது. இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து மே 17-ம் தேதி கிராமத்தில் கடுமையான பாதுகாப்பு போடப்பட்டது.
குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர்களைக் கைது செய்த பின்னரே ஆசிஃபின் உடலை அடக்கம் செய்வோம் என குடும்பத்தினர் தெரிவித்தனர். சில மணிநேர போராட்டங்களுக்குப் பிறகு குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் கைது செய்யப்பட்ட பின்னர் ஆசிஃப் உடல் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டது. சுமார் மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பு பாதிப்படைந்தவர்களுக்கும் தாக்கியவர்களுக்கும் இடையே சண்டை ஏற்பட்டதாக கிராம மக்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். “அவர்களுக்கிடையே சண்டை ஏற்பட்டபோது காவல்துறையினர் வரவழைக்கப்பட்டனர். இவர்களுக்கு இடையே சமரசம் செய்யப்பட்டது” என ஆசிஃபின் வீட்டருகே வசிக்கும் இலியாஸ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
வாசிஃப் பேசும்போதும் அவர்களுக்கிடையே சண்டை ஏற்கெனவே இருந்ததை ஒப்புக்கொண்டதாக ஊடகங்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளன. வாசிஃப் பேசும்போது, “எங்களுக்கிடையே சிறிய சண்டை இருந்தது. ஆனால், அவர்கள் எங்களை இப்படித் தாக்குவார்கள் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை” என்றார். தாக்கியவர்கள் கிரிமினல்கள் என்றும் அவர்கள் மக்களை அடிக்கடித் தாக்குவார்கள் என்றும் கிராமவாசிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் மீது இந்திய தண்டனைச் சட்டம் 148, 149, 302, 323, 341 மற்றும் 365 ஆகிய பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் தாக்கியதில் இறந்த ஆசிஃப்க்கு மனைவியும் மூன்று குழந்தைகளும் உள்ளனர். ஆசிஃபின் இறுதிச் சடங்கின்போது காவல்துறை அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் கிராம மக்களுக்கும் இடையே மோதல் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. காவல்துறையினர் குற்றம்சாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் பக்கம் நிற்பதாக கிராமவாசிகள் நினைத்துள்ளனர். இதனால், கற்களைக் கொண்டு கடுமையாக காவலர்களை தாக்கியுள்ளனர். இதனையடுத்து, காவல்துறையினர் வானத்தை நோக்கி துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு நடத்தி மக்களைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். மதம் தொடர்பான பிரச்னை இது இல்லை என்றும் காவல்துறையினர் தரப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. உள்ளூர் காங்கிரஸ் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் `மிகவும் வக்கிரமானவர்கள்’ என்றுக் கூறி நீதி கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.
