இந்தியன் தாத்தா மீசை இழந்தது தனது மகனுக்காகவா..? இல்லை கதையே வேறு!

‘சின்ன வயசுல கொஞ்சும்போது மீசை குத்துதுன்னு அழுவான். அவனுக்கு வலிக்கக்கூடாதுங்கிறதுக்காக மீசைய இழந்த சேனாபதி, இன்னைக்கு அவனையே இழக்கத் தயராகிட்டான்’ ‘இந்தியன்’ படத்தில் வரும் இந்த டயலாக் ரொம்ப ஃபேமஸ்.  காலம் கடந்த இந்த டயலாக்கை படத்தில் பார்ப்பவர்களுக்கு ‘ஓ இந்தியன் தாத்தா, தன் மகனுக்காகத்தான் மீசையை இழந்தாரா’ என நினைக்கத் தோன்றும். ஆனால், இந்த வசனமோ இதுமாதிரியான விஷயமோ கதை எழுதி ஷூட்டிங் போகும்வரையிலும் இல்லை. ஷுட்டிங்கில் நடந்த ஒரு சுவாரஸ்ய தவறால்தான் இந்தியன் தாத்தா கெட்டப்பில் மீசை மிஸ் ஆனது என்பதுதான் உண்மை. 

‘இந்தியன்’ பட கதை முழுவதும் தயாரானதும் கமலை சந்தித்து கதையை சொல்கிறார் ஷங்கர். சொல்லி முடித்ததுமே உடனே தன் சம்மதத்தை தெரிவித்தார் கமல். அதைத் தொடர்ந்து கமல், வயதான கெட்டப் என்றால் வெள்ளை முடி விக், கண்ணாடி என வழக்கமான தமிழ் சினிமா கெட்டப் போல இருக்கவேண்டாம் எனக்கூறி, ஹாலிவுட்டில் புழக்கத்துக்கு வந்திருந்த புரோஸ்தடிக் மேக்கப் பற்றி எடுத்துச்சொல்கிறார். அதிலிருக்கும் ஆச்சர்யங்களையும் சிறப்புகளையும் உணர்ந்த ஷங்கர், புரோஸ்தடிக் மேக்கப்பிலேயே இந்தியன் தாத்தா கெட்டப்பை உருவாக்கிவிடலாம் என திட்டமிடுகிறார். இதைத்தொடர்ந்து கமல், அமெரிக்காவுக்குச் சென்று இதற்கென முன்தயாரிப்பு வேலைகளில் ஈடுபட்டு, தன் கெட்டப்பை வடிவமைக்கிறார். இந்த கெட்டப் எப்படி அவுட்புட்டாக வரப்போகிறதென்பது கமலைத் தவிர யூனிட்டில் வேறு எவருக்கும் முழு விவரம் தெரியாது. ஷங்கருக்கே ஓரளவுத்தான் தெரியும்.

இந்தியன்

இந்நிலையில் படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங் ஆரம்பமாகிறது. அன்றைய தினம் இந்தியன் தாத்தா கெட்டப்பின் முதல்நாள் ஷூட்டிங்காக இந்தியன் தாத்தா போலீஸ் ஸ்டேஷனில் புகார் அளிக்கும் காட்சி திட்டமிடப்படுகிறது. இங்கு ஸ்பாட்டில் அதற்கான வேலைகள் பரபரப்பாக நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்க, இன்னொருபுறம் கமல், மணிக்கணக்காக புரோஸ்தடிக் மேக்கப்பில் ஈடுபட்டுவருகிறார். கெட்டப் ரெடியானதும் அதை ஷங்கரிடம் காட்டி ஓகே வாங்கவேண்டுமென நினைக்கிறார் கமல். அதன்படி எல்லாம் சரியாக இருக்கிறதா என ஒருமுறை கண்ணாடியில் சரிபார்த்துக்கொண்டு, ஒட்டு மீசையை மட்டும் கையில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஸ்பாட்டுக்குக் கிளம்புகிறார். அதாவது ஷங்கர் ஏதாவது கரெக்சன் சொல்கிறாரா எனப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டு கடைசியாக மீசையை ஒட்டிக்கொள்வதென்பது கமலின் திட்டம்.

ஸ்பாட்டுக்குள் கமல் மெல்ல நுழைய, தாத்தா கெட்டப்பில் இருக்கும் அவரை யாருக்கும் அடையாளம் தெரியாமல் கடந்துபோகிறார்கள்.  ஷங்கரின் அருகே போன கமல், அவரது தோளைத் தட்ட, திரும்பிப் பார்த்த ஷங்கர் இந்தியன் தாத்தா கெட்டப்பை பார்த்து சர்ப்பரைஸ் ஆகி ‘சார்ர்ர்ர்’ எனக் கத்தி குதிக்கத் தொடங்குகிறார். ‘இதுதான் சார் என் மனசுல இருந்தது’ என வெகுவாக கமலை புகழத் தொடங்குகிறார். அவரது சந்தோஷத்தையும் பிரமிப்பையும் பார்த்த மற்றவர்களுக்கு அப்போதுதான் அது கமலின் கெட்டப் எனத் தெரியவரவே மொத்த யூனிட்டுமே கைதட்டி கமலை உற்சாகப்படுத்துகிறது. இதையொட்டி, ஒரு நல்ல பாசிட்டிவ் வைப் கிடைத்திருப்பதை உணர்ந்த ஷங்கர், ‘சார் இந்த மூட்லயே ஒரு டேக் போயிடலாம்’ என உற்சாகமாக, கமலும் உடனே நடிப்பதற்குத் தயாராகிவிடுகிறார்.

இந்தியன் தாத்தா

அடுத்தடுத்து காட்சிகள் விறுவிறுவெனப் படமாகத் தொடங்குகிறது. அன்றைய நாளில் எடுக்கப்படவேண்டிய காட்சிகளில் முக்கால்வாசி எடுத்து முடித்ததும்தான் ‘அய்யய்யோ’ என உச் கொட்டியிருக்கிறார் கமல். ‘என்னாச்சு சார்’ என ஷங்கர் பதறிக் கேட்க, மீசை மேட்டரை சொல்லியிருக்கிறார் கமல். ‘ரீ-ஷூட் பண்ணிடலாமா?’ என கமல் கேட்க, ‘வேணாம் சார் இந்த கெட்டப்பே நல்லாதான் இருக்கு. இதையே ஃபிக்ஸ் பண்ணிக்கலாம்’ என்றிருக்கிறார். அதன்பிறகு வேலையோட்டத்தின் நடுவே ஷங்கரும் சுஜாதாவும் சேர்ந்து பேசி இணைத்ததுதான் மீசை பற்றிய டயலாக்.
