முதன்முறையாக விஜய் படத்துக்கு வித்யாசாகர் இசையமைத்தது இந்தப் படத்துக்குத்தான். முதல்முறையாக இணைந்த படத்திலேயே, உதித் நாராயணன் – சாதனா சர்கம் குரலில் ‘கோயம்புத்தூர் மாப்பிள்ளைக்கு பொண்ணு கிடைச்சா’ என்ற சூப்பர் ஹிட் பாடலையும் ஹரிஹரன் மகாலெட்சுமி ஐயர் குரலில் தனது டிரேட் மார்க்கான ‘ஒரு தேதி பார்த்தால்’ மெலடியையும் தந்திருப்பார் வித்யாசாகர். கூடவே இந்த ஆல்பத்தில் ‘பம்பாய் பார்ட்டி’ என்ற பாடலையும் விஜய்யை பாட வைத்திருப்பார் வித்யாசாகர்.
நிலாவே வா (1998)
இந்தப் படத்தில் ஹரிஹரன் – சித்ரா குரலில் உருவான ‘நீ காற்று’ பாடல் வித்யாசாகரின் டாப் 10 மெலடிகளில் ஒன்றாக இடம்பெறக்கூடியது. அனுராதா ஸ்ரீராமுடன் விஜய் இணைந்து பாடிய ‘நிலவே நிலவே’ பாடலும் எஸ்.பி.பி.சரண் & ஹரிணியுடன் விஜய் இணைந்து பாடிய ‘சந்திர மண்டலத்தை’ பாடலும் சுகமான பாடல்கள்தான்
திருமலை (2003)
அதுவரை சாதாரண ஒரு இசையமைப்பாளராக வித்யாசாகரும் ஒரு சாதாரண ஹீரோவாக விஜய்யும் இணைந்துவந்த நிலையில் இருவருமே சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்களாக ஆனபிறகு முதன்முறையாக இணைந்த படம் ‘திருமலை’. முன்னதாக வித்யாசாகர் ‘தில்’, ‘ரன்’, ‘அன்பே சிவம்’ எனத் தொடர்ந்து அடித்து ஆடிக்கொண்டிருக்க இந்தப் படத்தின் ஆல்பம் மிகப்பெரிய எதிர்பார்ப்புடன் வெளியானது. எதிர்பார்த்ததுபோலவே படத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற ஆறு பாடல்களுமே சொல்லி அடித்தது. ‘ தாம்தக்க தீம்தக்க’, ‘வாடியம்மா’, ‘அழகூரில் பூத்தவளே’, ‘திம்சுகட்டை’ ‘நீயா பேசியது’ ஆகிய பாடல்கள் இன்றும் டெம்போ குறையாமல் இருப்பது வித்யாசாகரின் மேஜிக்தான்.
கில்லி (2004)
வித்யாசாகர் தனது ஆஸ்தான இயக்குநர் தரணியுடன் ‘தில்’ ,‘தூள்’ ஹிட்டுக்குப் பிறகு இணைந்த படம் ‘கில்லி’. சுக்வீந்தர் சிங் குரலில் உருவான ‘அர்ஜூனரு வில்லு’ பாடல் விஜய் ரசிகர்களின் தேசிய கீதம். ‘கொக்கரகொக்கரக்கோ’ பாட்டு ஆல்டைம் ஹிட்டடிக்க, ‘அப்படிப்போடு’ பாடல் ஹிந்திவரை சென்று ரீமிக்ஸ் ஆனது. இன்றும் இந்தப் பாடல் இடம்பெறாத வட இந்திய பப்கள் கிடையாது. படத்தின் தீம் மியூசிக்கான ‘கபடி கபடி’ மீண்டும் ‘மாஸ்டர்’ படத்தில் இடம்பெற்றதென்றால் அதன் ஹீட் எப்படி இருந்திருக்கும். இப்படிப்பட்ட சூடான ஆல்பத்தில் விஜய் – திரிஷா காதல் ஹைக்கூவுக்கு அழகு சேர்க்கும்வகையில் சுஜாதா குரலில் ‘காதலா காதலா’ என்ற மெலடியையும் அமைத்திருப்பார் வித்யாசாகர்.
மதுர (2004)
‘கில்லி’ வந்த அதே வருடம் வெளியானது ‘மதுர’. ஷங்கர் மகாதேவன் குரலில் ‘ மச்சான் பேரு மதுர’ என மாஸ் ஹிட் பாடல் இடம்பெற மதுபாலகிருஷ்ணன் – சாதனா சர்கம் குரலில் ‘கண்டேன் கண்டேன்’ என்ற மெலடியிலும் அசத்தியிருப்பார் வித்யாசாகர். இன்று டிக் டாக்கில் அதிகம் புழக்கத்தில் இருக்கும் ‘சாரப்பாம்பு நடை’ வரிகள் இந்தப் படத்திற்காக வித்யாசாகர் இசையமைத்ததுதானே.
குருவி (2008)
`கில்லி’ காம்போ மீண்டும் இணைந்த படம் இது. படம் தோல்வி பெற்றிருந்தாலும் ஆல்பம் தோல்வி அடையவில்லை. உதித் நாராயணன் – ஷ்ரேயா கோசல் குரலில் ‘தேன் தேன்’, வித்யாசாகரே பின்ணணி பாடிய ‘பலானது’, சுனிதி சௌஹான் – யோகி பி இணைந்து பாடிய ‘ஹேப்பி நியூ இயர்’ என ‘குருவி’ ஆல்பம் ஒரு கலர்ஃபுல் ஆல்பம்தான்.
காவலன் (2011)
ஒரு சிறிய இடைவெளிக்குப் பிறகு விஜய் படத்துக்கு வித்யாசாகர் இசையமைத்த படம் இது. திப்பு குரலில் ‘விண்ணைக் காப்பான் ஒருவன்’ ஃபாஸ்ட் பீட்டும் கே.கே – ரீட்டா குரலில் ‘பட்டாம்பூச்சி கூம்பிடும்போது’ எனும் கூல் டூயட்டும் இடம்பெற்ற ஆல்பம் இது. கார்த்திக் குரலில் உருவான `யாரது’ பாடல் இன்றும் பலரது ரிங்டோனாகவும் காலர் டியூனாகவும் இருந்துவருகிறது.
