தேசிய சுகாதாரப் பதிவேட்டின்படி இந்தியாவில் பரிசோதனைக்காக மட்டும் மருத்துவமனைகளுக்கு வருபவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையானது 2018-2019 ஆண்டுகளில் 3.5 கோடியிலிருந்து 6.6 கோடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. அதிலும் மார்பகப் புற்றுநோய்க்காக சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருபவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 10 சதவிகிதத்துக்கும் அதிகமாக உள்ளது. மார்பகப் புற்றுநோய் குறித்து, இன்றளவில் பெண்களிடையே விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்பட்டு வருகிறது.

அறிகுறிகள் – எப்படி கண்டுபிடிப்பது?

மார்பகப் புற்றுநோய் அறிகுறிகளில் முக்கியமானது மார்பில் தோன்றும் வீக்கங்களும், கட்டிகளும்தான். வலி இருக்கிறதோ, இல்லையோ எத்தகைய மாற்றங்கள் இருந்தாலும் உடனடியாக பரிசோதனை செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். அதேபோல மார்பகத்தில் அடிக்கடி வலி ஏற்பட்டால் உடனடியாக மார்பக பரிசோதனை செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். பாதிப்பானது ஆரம்பக் காலங்களில் கண்டறியப்பட்டால் முழுமையாகக் குணப்படுத்தி விடலாம். உயர்தர தொழில்நுட்பத்தின் மூலம் மார்பகப் புற்றுநோய் கண்டறியும் முறைகளுக்கு அதிக செலவாகிறது. உலகில் உள்ள 90 சதவிகிதம் பெண் நோயாளிகளுக்கு இன்றளவும் இந்நோயானது கையாலே தொட்டுணர்ந்து கண்டறியப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தற்போது பரிசோதனை முறையானது மேமோகிராஃபி (Mammography) என்னும் அதிநவீன கருவியைக்கொண்டு செய்யப்படுகிறது. இந்நோயைக் கண்டறிவதற்காக ஒரு தனிநபர் 1,500 முதல் 2,000 ரூபாய் வரை செலவு செய்ய வேண்டியிருக்கிறது.
