இயக்குநர் ஷங்கருடன் ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் முதன்முதலாக இணைந்த இந்தப் படத்தில் வியாபார நோக்கத்திற்காக திணிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பாடல்தான் ‘சிக்கு புக்கு ரயிலே’. ஆனால் ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மானின் துள்ளலான வெஸ்டர்ன் இசையும் சுரேஷ் பீட்டர்ஸின் மயக்கும் குரலும் வாலியின் இளமையான வரிகளும் சேர்ந்துகொள்ள ஆடியோவே மாஸ் ஹிட். போதாக்குறைக்கு அந்தப் பாடலுக்கு திரையில் இன்னமும் எனர்ஜி கூட்டியிருந்தார் பிரபுதேவா. அந்தப் பாடலுக்கு அவர் போட்ட மைக்கேல் ஜாக்சன் பாணியிலான நடனம் அதுவரை தமிழ் சினிமா பார்த்திடாதது. விளைவு பாடல் பேய் ஹிட். பிரபுதேவாவுக்கும் முக்கியமான திருப்புமுனையாக அமைந்தது.

ரோமியோ ஆட்டம் போட்டால் – (மிஸ்டர் ரோமியோ)
‘மெல்லிசையே’, ‘மோனலிசா..மோனலிசா’, ‘தண்ணீரைக் காதலிக்கும்’ என ‘மிஸ்டர் ரோமியோ’ படத்திற்காக போட்ட பாடல்கள் எல்லாமே மரண ஹிட்டடிக்க, அதன் உச்சமாக பிரபுதேவாவிற்காகவே எழுதி இசையமைக்கப்பட்டதுபோல உருவான ஒரு பாடல்தான் ‘ரோமியோ ஆட்டம் போட்டால்’. அதுவரை மெலடி பாடிக்கொண்டிருந்த ஹரிஹரனையும் அவருக்கு நேரெதிர் குரல் கொண்ட உதித் நாராயணனையும் இணைந்து பாடவிட்டு ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் செய்தது தரமான ஒரு சம்பவம். பாடலின் ஒரு இடத்தில் வைரமுத்து எழுதியிருந்த ‘அன்னையின் கருவினில் புரண்டதும் நடனம் தொடங்கிவிட்டேன்’ எனும் வரி பிரபுதேவாவுக்குத்தான் எவ்வளவு பொருத்தம்.
மானாமதுரை – மின்சார கனவு
ஒரு சூப்பர் மியூசிக்கல் ரோம்-காம் படமான ‘மின்சார கனவு’ படத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற ஒரேயொரு ஃபாஸ்ட் பீட் பாடலான ‘மானாமதுரை’ பாடலிலும் பிரபுதேவாவின் கால்வரிசையைக் காட்ட இடம் கொடுத்திருப்பார், ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான். சித்ரா, உன்னி மேனன் குரல்களில் ஸ்மூத்தாக போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கும் பாடலின் இடையில் 3-வது நிமிடம் 41-வது செகண்டில் பிரபுதேவா எண்ட்ரி ஆகும்போது ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் ஒரு குத்து குத்தியிருப்பாரு பாருங்கள். ஆஸம்..! அந்த இடத்தையெல்லாம் தியேட்டரில் பார்த்தவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
